Belesky opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Orr motioned to approve the agenda as presented supported by Strait. Motion Carried.

Approval of the Minutes-Regular Meeting May 10, 2022
Orr motioned to approve the minutes of May 10, 2022 supported by Crowe.

Public Hearing opened at 7:02 p.m.
- PUBLIC HEARING: Variance (5078 Lapeer Road) 74-25-002-3001-000
Tim Hammar, 817 Wadhams: They are proposing opening an Assisted Living Center in this building. Zoning requires 5 acres and the property is 4.97 acres. Requesting a variance.
Daughter works in hospice and there is a need in the area and industry. Anticipate 20-25 residents. The property is currently vacant.
Discussion.
Public Comment: Phone call from Peter Krupczak, owns contiguous property with questions about the Master Plan and future developments. (Realtor present). Erickson returned the phone call with answers to the individual questions.
Discussion by board regarding hardship of the property, meets width but not depth requirements, less than a 2-foot variance (0.8%).
Public Hearing closed at 7:08 p.m.
Orr motioned approval of variance for 5078 Lapeer Road second by Strait.
ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Orr, Strait, Crowe, Nelson and Belesky. NO: None. ABSENT: None. (5-0-0) Motion Carried.
