Here is a chance to see your requests in action. As part of our Strategic Planning process we asked the community several question about beautification of the Township. We used your responses to shape the plan. Question 5 of the survey can be seen below.
Nearly half of the respondents indicated to us that they would like to see more flowers planted around the Township. Of course, a plan is no good if it is never put into action.
Today, the Township began planting flowers. We started by planting at the Township office. As can be seen in the picture above we have planted flowers at the end of the canopy near the entrance and also need the sign out front.
Thank you to Clerk Hand and Trustee Kilroy who have headed up a combined Community Center / Beautification Committee that brought this about. Thank you also to Allison Arnold who has been active on the committee as well. All three were out today to help with the planting and are an intregal part of the committee. We are thankful for their commitment to the community.
