Gregg opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: Gilbert, Gregg and Nielsen
ABSENT: Cline and Wager.
ALSO PRESENT: Becky Wrubel, Clerk
- COMMUNICATIONS
- Minutes of Kimball Township Cemetery Board for February 8, 2023
Nielsen motioned to approve the minutes as presented supported by Gilbert.
Motion Carried.
- OLD BUSINESS
- Chapel
Calls were put out for pricing, size and configuration as well as the usage, all of the Cemeteries indicated that in the past few years the chapels were only used a handful of times.
- Veteran Plot Map, Markers and Updated List
This list was missing many veterans and had many errors and is currently being fixed.
- NEW BUSINESS
- Master Plan
We need to have ideas for the Townships Master Plan for the cemetery, as it is currently not included.
Scatter garden, water in the back, please have more ideas for June.
- MTA Cemetery Meeting
Ordered four books June 20, 2023.
- Cemetery Ordinance Enforcement
We went out to the cemetery at 10:55 a.m. for a walk-through and placed 17 cards on graves in violation.
- Gravel/New Parking at Back

Edging, fence, blocks, flowers, trees, shrubs or decorations exceed 12 inches of South, East and North of the headstone, this interferes with the general maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery. The Cemetery Board is working to better improve the maintenance of the cemetery, please be sure to read up on the rules and regulations of the cemetery.
