Now Hiring: APPRAISER/ASSISTANT ASSESSOR
Kimball Township is seeking qualified applicants for a Part-Time
Appraiser/Assistant Assessor. This position reports directly to the Township
Assessor. Duties & responsibilities include the performance of field
inspections to appraise and assess real property; assistance in maintaining
property assessment rolls and tax maps; assistance to assessing customers;
and providing clerical work, assistance and secretarial support to supervision.
Necessary qualifications include: Michigan Certified Assessing Technician
Certificate or higher certification preferred; working knowledge of BS&A
Equalizer Assessing Software; APEX Software; high school diploma;
experience in assessing procedures; word processing and secretarial duties;
2-3 years’ work experience in a fast-paced environment.
The job will require travel by the employee in the employee’s own vehicle.
May be required to climb, reach with hands and arms/stoop, kneel or crouch.
Applicants must be physically able to perform the job responsibilities.
Starting wage is $16.39 per hour, 25-28 hours per week. Interested qualified
