Regular Meeting
July 9, 2024
6:30 P.M.
Strait motioned to open the meeting at 6:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call of Members: Strait, Orr and Nelson.
Absent: Bowen.
Also Present: Clerk Becky Wrubel.
Orr motioned for Strait to chair the meeting supported by Nelson. Motion Carried.
I. Approval of Agenda
Orr motioned to approve the agenda as presented supported by Nelson.
Motion Carried.
II. Approval of the Minutes
Nelson motioned to approve the minutes of June 11, 2024 as presented supported by
Orr. Motion Carried.
III. New Business
- Thomas Henson-
Temporary Dwelling while building primary residence:
1900 Burns Rd #74-25-018-219-010
Mr. Henson purchased 10 acres. Current landlord sold their current home. Mrs. Henson wants to build a tiny house (log cabin) 14′ X 14′ on the property. Time frame to start building is Summer of 2025. Should be done in three months.
Variance for performance bond is $1,000 for tiny home to be put on the property for the year so it can be built.
Approval on bond to start.
Nelson motioned to approve the variance to start on August 15th and is good for one year supported by Orr.
ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Nelson, Orr and Strait. NO: None.
ABSENT: Bowen. (3-0-1) Motion Carried.

Nelson: On Griswold, they are coming in for a Class A for Allen and Griswold.
