REGULAR MEETING
JULY 12, 2023
10:00 A.M.
Gregg called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: Cline, Wager, Gregg and Nielsen.
ABSENT: Gilbert.
ALSO PRESENT: Clerk Becky Wrubel.
I. COMMUNICATIONS
A. Minutes of Kimball Township Cemetery Board for June 10, 2023
II. OLD BUSINESS
A. Veteran plot map, markers, and updated list: We talked about flag placement, in which the flag needs to be at the head of the stone on the side of which the Veteran lays. We also discussed the use of suction cups on the columbarium for flags.
B. Master Plan: we need to have ideas for the Townships Master Plan for the cemetery, as it is currently not included. Scatter garden, water in the back.

C. Cemetery Ordinance Enforcement: For our rules and regulations to be enforced by law, the sign at the cemetery needs to say (Ordinance) Ordinance changes are NOT Grandfathered in.
D. Gravel/new parking in the back: Gravel is to spread on the East driveway towards the back. We have two bids and need one more.
E. Chapel: With the calls that the board has made regarding chapels, we have found that it is not cost effective for how little they are utilized.
III. NEW BUSINESS
A. Grass Seed: This can be done by the DPW.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Cline motioned to adjourn the meeting at 12:10 p.m. supported by Wagar.
