The Township operates as a General Law Township form of government and has done so since 1855. The major component to this system of government is the Township Board.
The Township Board is the legislative body, establishing Township policies, while the Supervisor, Clerk & Treasurer carry out the directives of the Board. Our Township’s Board consists of a Supervisor, Clerk & Treasurer elected at large along with four trustees. Each serve a four year term of office.
The Tonwship Board is responsible for the the development of policies related to the procurement process, protection of the township’s physical assets and related support services for citizens and township operations.
The TownshipSupervisor is responsible for preparing and monitoring the Kimball Township’s Annual Budget. The Treasurer and Supervisor work together to make necessary budget adjustments throughout the year.Find quick access to city budgets and budget meeting presentations.
