Meeting called to order by Shawn Biernat at 3:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance
- Roll Call of Members
· Present: Diana Nielsen and Amanda Gregg
· Also Present: Shawn Biernat, Assessor; Emily Mamps, Assistant Assessor.
· Absent: Cheryl Struble
- Approval of Agenda
· Amanda Gregg motioned to approve the agenda as presented, supported by Diana Nielsen. Motion carried.
- Presentation of Pertinent December Board of Review Information
· Discussion and review of recent legislative changes: Principal Residence Exemptions and Disabled Veterans Exemptions are no longer reviewed or granted by the Board of Review.
- New Business
· Presentation of 2023 December Board of Review corrections.
· Assistant Assessor Emily Mamps was introduced to the board and procedural matters were discussed.
- Letter Appeals
· The board reviewed two Poverty Exemptions, one was denied, and one was granted. 6. Public Appeals
· No public appeals heard.
7. Board of Review Discussion
· 2024 March Board of Review will be March 11, 2024, and March 13, 2024.
8. Adjournment
· Amanda Gregg motioned to adjourn, supported by Diana Nielsen. Motion carried. The 2024 December Board of Review adjourned at 3:45PM.
