SPECIAL MEETING

Usakowski opened the special meeting at 6:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS: Jackson, Wrubel, Usakowski, Deland and Hoffman.
ABSENT: Sturdevant and Ward.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Deland motioned to approve the agenda as presented supported by Hoffman.
Motion Carried.

PARK ATTENDANT HIRING
Usakowski explained that Mitchell turned us down and that he spoke with both Cal Hunt and Gerry O’Connor about the grass cutting and park attendant.
They would start as soon as possible with Cal being part-time and Gerry being full-time.
Usakowski stated that Cal will not have set hours, but will be working the later shift.
Deland discussed about Kevin’s not doing the grass cutting and Rob explained the DPW would weed whip the cemetery.
Usakowski: They will start Monday, April 12, 2021.
Deland: Would they be eligible for unemployment?
Usakowski: Yes.
Usakowski motioned to approve the hiring of Cal Hunt and Gerry O’Connor as the new part-time and full-time Park Attendants for Sutherland Park supported by Wrubel.
ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Usakowski, Wrubel, Jackson, Deland and Hoffman.
NO: None. ABSENT: Sturdevant and Ward. (5-0-2) Motion Carried.
Usakowski discussed how heavy the Covid-19 is effecting our staff. He also discussed that we will be having a company out front of our office soon to do saliva testing for Covid-19.
Deland: Wondering about the $903,000.00 and how it can be spent.
Usakowski: Cover lost revenue, lost wages, water and sewer.
