REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 13, 2022
10:00 A.M.
Gregg opened the meeting at 10:04 with the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: Cline, Gilbert, Gregg and Nielsen.
ABSENT: Wagar.
ALSO PRESENT: Becky Wrubel and Mr. Grabowski.
- COMMUNICATIONS
- Minutes of Kimball Township Cemetery Board
Nielsen motioned to approve the minutes for March 9, 2022 as presented supported by Gilbert. Motion Carried.
- OLD BUSINESS
- Scatter Gardens: On hold for planning until the area is accessible.
- Fixing the Drive at Caswell
Wrubel contacted local companies for bids, many are no longer in business. Fresh Look out of Ray Township sent in a bid to fix six sections for $7,172.00.
Gilbert motioned to approve the bid from Fresh Look at a cost of $7,172.00 to fix the driveway at Caswell Cemetery supported by Nielsen. Motion Carried.
- Ordinance
The number of cremations per lot is to be as follows: One full burial plus three cremains per grave. No full burial you can have six cremains per grave.
- Veterans Flags
Flags are placed by the American Legion. A date for flag and marker placement has not been given at this time.
- NEW BUSINESS

Scheduled Cemetery Walk Through
A walk through of Caswell Cemetery will take place after the meeting is adjourned.

Trees
The DPW has mentioned that there are trees down at the older cemeteries that will be addressed.

Gilbert motioned to close the meeting at 10:57 a.m. supported by Nielsen.
Motion Carried.
Reconvened at Caswell Cemetery at 11:09 a.m. The board has made notations to be brought forth to the next meeting of compliance issues with the Columbarium’s: Stickers, hooks, and flowers with Shepard Hooks around the Columbarium.
