Special Meeting/Public Hearing

April 13, 2021

7:00 P.M.

 

Open Meeting: Sturdevant opened meeting with Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 p.m.

Roll Call of Members:
Present: Strait, Sturdevant, Taylor, and Orr. Absent: Belesky.

Also Present:
Neil Erickson, Zoning Administrator/Recording Secretary.

 

  1. Approval of Agenda

    Sturdevant moved to approve agenda, supported by Orr

     

  2. New Business

 

  1. Public Hearing: Variance: Terry Blake, 2600 Wadhams Road lot split: 74-25-3005-000

Sturdevant opened the public hearing at 7:03 p.m.

 

Blake asked his partner, Fred Rollins, to speak. Requesting a 4:1 ratio for three properties, as well as a setback variance for pond.

 

Sturdevant motioned to close the Public Hearing at 7:22 p.m. Second by Strait. Motion Carried.

 

Orr moved to grant the 4:1 ratio and 10-foot variance for pond, support by Taylor.

Roll Call Vote: Yes: Orr, Taylor, Strait, Sturdevant. No: None. Absent: Belesky. Motion Carried.

 

  1. Old Business
    1. Class A Designation: McConnell: 1301 Woodrow Avenue: 74-25-520-0041-000

    McConnel (1301 Woodrow Ave) Asking for a variance from 840 -960 and a Class A designation for C-2 zoning. Have 840 existing square feet, 960 needed. Garage Reside and roof.

     

    Brian Reid (1305 Range Road) Not in favor of proposal.

     

    Garage must be reroofed and resided. Went from 840 existing to 960 for the house.

 

Strait motioned to grant the 4:1 ratio and 10-foot variance for pond, support by Taylor.
Sturdevant moved to approve the Class A designation, Support by Taylor

Roll Call Vote: Yes: Strait, Taylor, Orr, Sturdevant. No: None. Absent: Belesky. Motion Carried.
