Meeting called to order at 2:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: PRESENT: Sturdevant, Cline, Bennett, Pung and Wagar.
I. COMMUNICATIONS
- Minutes of Kimball Township Cemetery Advisory Board – September 11, 2013. Motion by Pung to accept as presented supported by Cline. Motion Carried.
- Minutes of Kimball Township Board of Trustees – September 17, 2013.
Received by M. Sturdevant.
II. OLD BUSINESS
a. Cemetery Expansion
The Kimball Township Board of Trustees approved the bid for the construction of the new driveway at Caswell Cemetery to Torello Construction. Sturdevant not sure when the work will begin or what the completion date will be.
III. NEW BUSINESS
a. Computer Software
Sturdevant presented a handout about a software program given to him by Nicole. Sturdevant stated that he had watched the demo video on his home computer. Nicole will try to bring her laptop to show the Cemetery Board at the next meeting what the software can do. Sturdevant stated that the current cemetery records could not be entered on this new system. It would be too time consuming and cost prohibited. Colleen Connie and Nicole suggested that the new system be implemented for the new section of Caswell Cemetery when the lots start being mapped out and sold. Sturdevant stated that he would contact Nicole for the possible cost of this new software.
Motion by Bennett to adjourn at 2:30 pm supported by Cline. Motion Carried.
