Meeting called to order at 12:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: PRESENT: Sturdevant, Cline, Bennett, Pung and Wagar.
I. COMMUNICATIONS
- Minutes of Kimball Township Cemetery Advisory Board – August 14, 2013. Motion by Cline to accept as presented supported by Bennett. Motion Carried.
b. Minutes of Kimball Township Board of Trustees – August 20, 2013. Received by M. Sturdevant.
II. OLD BUSINESS
a. Cemetery Expansion
The Kimball Township Board of Trustees at the last meeting discussed the new driveway at Caswell Cemetery. A question was asked by one of the board members if the township did indeed have an easement for this property? Sturdevant stated that all they had to do was read the Quit Claim Deed given to Kimball Township by Mr. Kevin Koveck on August 24, 2008 when he donated the property to the township.
III. NEW BUSINESS
a. Computer Software
Nicole showed Sturdevant a software program for cemetery management. The new program would allow the records to be entered and kept more accurate. She suggested the cemetery board look at this for the record keeping of the new section of Caswell Cemetery. She will try to present a video at the next cemetery meeting.
Motion by Wagar to adjourn at 12:45 pm supported by Cline. Motion Carried.
